The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has released a draft agenda for its spring Organizational Member Forum (OMF) meeting on April 19, 2017. The meeting will be held at National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) headquarters at 1 Batterymarch Park, Quincy, MA, from 10 a.m. to 3p.m. EST.

Panelists will also share their best practices related to standards interpretations, processing errors and corrections to their standards, as well as how to attract new members.

After a lunch and networking session, Jay Moskowitz, director of the ANSI standards developer audit program, will provide a report on overall findings from recent audits including trends and suggestions for a successful audit; OMF members are invited to participate.

Chris Dubay, chair, ANSI Executive Standards Council (ExSC), will provide an update on items of interest, and Patricia Griffin, ANSI vice president and general counsel, will provide an overview of legal issues and copyright activities. Claire Rampseck of ASHRAE will provide a presentation on items of interest from the ANSI governance meetings.
