Call for Applications: ANSI Personnel Certification Accreditation Committee

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is currently accepting applications from personnel certification and policy development experts to serve on the Institute’s Personnel Certification Accreditation Committee (PCAC)—the entity responsible for the policy, procedures, and accreditation decisions relating to personnel certification bodies. Applications are for a three-year term of service beginning January 1, 2007.

Specific responsibilities of PCAC members include:

  • determining the status of certification bodies applying for initial accreditation
  • overseeing the annual surveillance accreditation process
  • creating and monitoring accreditation program policies and procedures
  • providing guidance to ANSI staff on international, educational, marketing and fiscal initiatives pertaining to the program

ANSI members with at least five years of experience in the field of personnel certification are invited to submit an application. In particular, individuals currently holding positions in academia and state government are highly encouraged to apply.
