Sponsorship Opportunities Available for Phase II of the Financial Impact of Cyber Risk

New York, Dec 03, 2009

In January 2010, the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Internet Security Alliance (ISA) will release The Financial Impact of Cyber Risk II, an action guide designed to help executives and corporate leaders to mitigate their cybersecurity risks through concrete solutions. Sponsorship opportunities are now available to support the widespread dissemination and promotion of this key publication.

ANSI invites organizations that wish to demonstrate their commitment to fostering cybersecurity and risk assessment practices to consider the comprehensive sponsorship packages that are available. Partner sponsors receive a variety of benefits, including logo placement, recognition in press releases, and banner advertising, gaining distinction as a leader in the field. Premium sponsors will also receive enhanced publication co-branding, including a company snapshot profile and a prominent testimonial quote in the publication, as well as promotional campaign benefits, such as featured speaking engagements and remarks by a company representative in a Congressional staff briefing on Capitol Hill.

Commitments of support from interested sponsors are requested by December 22, 2009.

The Financial Impact of Cyber Risk II explores both the economic and technical aspects of cybersecurity, providing a framework to companies and organizations from a variety of perspectives: legal, compliance, business operations and technology, risk management and corporate insurance, external communications and crisis management, and human resources. The document builds on the 2008 ANSI-ISA document, The Financial Impact of Cyber Risk: 50 Questions Every CFO Should Ask, which provided questions that organizations and chief financial officers (CFOs) should explore to identify and quantify the financial risk associated with cybersecurity. The final workshop framework document from Phase I is available for review at [see related news item]
