Renewable Fuel Standards to Highlight March Meeting of ANSI Caucus

Washington, DC, Mar 03, 2005

On Friday, March 4, 2005, the ANSI Caucus will feature Mr. Neil Rossmeissl, technology manager of the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy at the U.S. Department of Energy (DoE). This is Mr. Rossmeissl's second presentation at an ANSI Caucus; he discussed DoE’s Hydrogen Fuel Cells and Infrastructure Program and the impact of standards on this technology worldwide at the June 2004 ANSI Caucus.

This Friday, Mr. Rossmeissl will describe the renewable fuels standard (RFS), followed by a discussion on ethanol technical standards issues, and end with a progress report on the hydrogen fuel project.

The March Caucus event will begin at 11:30 am with general networking, and lunch will be served at 12:00 noon. The University Club is located at 1135 16th Street, between L and M streets. To RSVP, please contact Jessica Karp (jkarp@ansi.org) as soon as possible.

The March sponsor is the American Petroleum Institute. ANSI Caucus luncheons are held on the first Friday of each month and are free to ANSI members.
