BAE Systems Announces Tom Arseneault to Become President and CEO

BAE Systems, Inc., a member of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), has announced that Tom Arseneault, president and chief operating officer, will assume the role of president and CEO effective April 1, 2020. Having served as CEO since 2014, Jerry DeMuro will transition to a new role as executive vice president of initiatives and continue to serve on the U.S. organization's board of directors.

Mr. Arseneault is currently responsible for delivering business and functional performance across the company's three sectors. This role is the most recent in his 22-year tenure with BAE Systems, having previously held other senior leadership positions at the company, including president of the electronic systems sector and executive vice president of BAE Systems' product sectors.

"Tom has extensive experience and a deep commitment to our mission, and his selection represents a natural next step for our leadership team," said Mr. DeMuro. "Tom knows our business and lives our values, and I'm confident he's the right person to guide the company into the future and ensure BAE Systems and its dedicated employees continue to thrive and deliver for our customers."

Lesley Kalan Expands Her Role as Corporate Vice President at Northrop Grumman Corporation

Northrop Grumman Corporation, an ANSI member, has named Lesley Kalan corporate vice president and chief strategy and development officer, effective January 1, 2020. In her expanded role, she will continue reporting directly to Kathy Warden, chairman, CEO, and president of Northrup Gruman.

Ms. Kalan will continue to lead the company's public policy, regulatory, and government affairs strategies. She will also develop, implement, and lead the company's business strategy, domestic business development, and commercial partnerships.

"In this expanded role, Lesley will help to ensure our company is well positioned for future growth," said Ms. Warden. "Her deep industry experience and business acumen will serve us well as we continue to solve our customers' toughest challenges."

Ms. Kalan has served as corporate vice president of government relations since January 2018; prior to that, she served as vice president of legislative affairs since 2010.

Retired Air Force Maj. General Darryl Burke Joins CACI as Senior Vice President

CACI International Inc., an ANSI member, has named Maj. Gen. Darryl W. Burke, USAF (Ret.), as senior vice president to provide strategic advice in support of CACI's enterprise and mission expertise and technology offerings to the U.S. Air Force. CACI has supported the Air Force's mission for nearly 50 years with expertise and technology in areas ranging from space operations and cybersecurity for protecting critical systems, to command, control, computers, communications, cyber, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C5ISR) capabilities designed to assist operators, decision-makers, and others.

During his service in the Air Force, Maj. Gen. Burke was responsible for organizing, training, and equipping combat forces for aerospace expeditionary forces, homeland operations, civil support, national special security, and ceremonial events, among other postings. Most recently, he served as vice president, global intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance programs, for Viasat, Inc.

John Mengucci, CACI president and chief executive officer, said, "Mr. Burke's experience leading Airmen at the squadron, wing, and higher levels will prove invaluable as we seek to continue growing our enterprise and mission expertise and technology offerings to the Air Force."
