According to a recent study, 64% of employees use their smartphones and messaging apps multiple times per day for work-related purposes. Privacy and security are increasing concerns amid the rise of messaging apps. For many industries and sectors, this could mean passing along sensitive data through these channels, so the need to keep messages private and secure is growing. A number of standards support safety and encryption.
These 14 organizations joined a federation that represents and serves the diverse
interests of more than 270,000 companies and well over 30 million
professionals.
