Only One Week Left! Register Now for the U.S.-Philippines Cold Chain Standards and Innovation Workshop

Register by October 14: The “U.S.-Philippines Cold Chain Standards and Innovation Workshop” will be hosted by the U.S. Trade and Development Agency with support from ANSI under the U.S.–Indo-Pacific Standards & Technology Cooperation Program. The two-day virtual workshop will be offered to relevant U.S. and Filipino stakeholders.

Reminder to Register: October 26-28 ANSI Workshop on Global Supply Chain Security for Microelectronics Standardization

Register by October 19: ANSI’s workshop on global supply chain security for microelectronics standardization will be held on behalf of the U.S. Department of Defense. The event will take place at the headquarters of Booz Allen Hamilton, VA. While in-person participation is strongly encouraged, remote participation is also available. 

Management Consultancy: ANSI Seeks Comments on Proposed New ISO Technical Committee

Management consulting can improve the operational efficiency and effectiveness of an organization. As the U.S. member body to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), ANSI seeks comments by November 11, 2022, on a proposal for a new ISO technical committee on management consultancy. 

Standards Alliance Phase ll Workshop on Enhancing Quality Infrastructure through Modern Reinforced Concrete Building Codes and Standards in Africa: A Recap

Building code standards and construction industry experts from Africa and the U.S. convened to share international best practices for adopting standards that support concrete structural design and growth in Africa. ANSI and the U.S. Agency for International Development collaborated with the American Concrete Institute to coordinate the event, part of the Standards Alliance public-private partnership program.

ANSI COVID-19 News: Standards Behind the Mask and Exploring the New Bivalent Vaccine

The ANSI Federation and standardization community are stepping up with guidance, resources, and initiatives to support public health and safety, and the nation's recovery. In this issue:

ISO, IEC, and ITU September 2022 Listings of Work Items Published

In an effort to increase stakeholder engagement and collaboration and reduce duplicative work, ISO, the International Electrotechnical Commission, and the International Telecommunications Union have coordinated the publication of a monthly document that lists all new work items from the three organizations, including updates on the projects and timelines for the technical committees' work.
