ANSI Announces Recipients of the 2022 Leadership and Service Awards

ANSI congratulates the 21 award recipients, recognized for their significant contributions to national and international standardization activities, as well as an ongoing commitment to their industry, the nation, and the voluntary consensus standards system. Awardees will be honored at ANSI’s Leadership and Service Awards Ceremony during World Standards Week, on October 12, 2022, in Washington, DC.

Paper Competition Announced for U.S. Competition of World Standards Day 2022

Enter today: Authors may select the 2022 World Standards Day theme, “Sustaining the U.S. Standards Model and American Standards Leadership,” or other topics. The top prize is $2,500 and submissions are due by September 30

ANSI's New FAQ Webpage Addresses Frequently Asked Questions about Standardization 

Understanding standards can be a challenge, which is why it’s critically important to spread awareness about themand their potentialfar and wide. ANSI’s new “Frequently Asked Questions” webpage provides clear and concise answers to an array of common questions about standards and the U.S. and international standardization systems.

Department of Energy Seeks Input on Critical Materials Research Program to Strengthen Clean Energy Technology Manufacturing

In an effort to address vulnerabilities in the domestic critical materials supply chain, the U.S. Department of Energy has issued a request for information on the development and implementation of a Critical Materials Research, Development, Demonstration, and Commercialization Program. 

ANSI Company Member Forum Calls for Chair and Vice Chair Nominations

Get involved: ANSI’s Company Member Forum is accepting nominations for the roles of 2023 CMF chair and vice chair(s) by August 31, 2022. New terms shall commence on January 1, 2023.

Sign up for in-person or virtual training before August 29: The USNC Communications committee will host its 10th Technical Advisory Group (TAG) Leadership Workshop on September 12, 2022.
