Attention: ANSI Announces Precautionary Measures Regarding COVID-19

3/30/2020

Updated March 30, 2020

In view of the significant health risks posed by the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has put in place several precautions:

Temporary Office Closures

To ensure the safety of our employees, the continuity of ANSI's operations, and to help minimize the potential spread of the virus, ANSI, ANAB, and Workcred offices remain closed until further notice. All operations continue to fully function, with staff working remotely. ANSI will look to reopen offices as circumstances warrant, consistent with local health directives.

ANSI's NYC office and ANAB's Milwaukee office originally closed on March 16, 2020; all other ANSI/ANAB/Workcred offices closed effective March 17, 2020.

These precautions have been taken in consultation with the Chair of ANSI's Board of Directors and are consistent with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) recommendations for strategies that businesses might implement to protect their employees, and guests.

ANSI is closely monitoring developments relating to COVID-19 and will issue additional announcements as circumstances evolve.

The health and safety of our employees, members, and guests are our top priority. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
