The ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB), a wholly owned subsidiary of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), has been approved to conduct on-site accreditation assessments on behalf of the New Hampshire Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NH ELAP).
The NH ELAP provides accreditation to environmental laboratories both within and outside New Hampshire to ensure the methods employed by those laboratories achieve sufficiently accurate, precise, and consistent results of tests, analyses, and measurements. The program offers accreditation for a variety of potable water, non-potable water, solid and chemical materials, air, and tissue methods.
ANAB supports and is proud to be part of the commitment of the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services to ensure ELAP laboratories meet common requirements and generate high-quality data,” Doug Leonard, ANAB vice president, said. “ANAB is one of the few assessment providers that can offer accreditation services for ISO/IEC 17025 and the Department of Defense Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program in conjunction with a New Hampshire ELAP assessment.”
