Workcred, an affiliate of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) focused on advancing quality workforce credentials, is pleased to announce that Jennifer Marquez has joined the Workcred board of directors for a three-year term, effective immediately.
Ms. Marquez has a tenured history with Kaiser Permanente, where she has spent 20 years in progressive leadership roles in talent acquisition and has expertise as a leader in talent management and creating talent strategies. Currently, Ms. Marquez is principal consultant for clinical talent management strategy at Kaiser Permanente, where she develops and drives innovative strategies and solutions for talent acquisition and talent management for the care delivery program encompassing nearly 160,000 clinical staff. Additionally, she influences and develops functional and organization-wide policies and goals to support talent acquisition and internal mobility strategies.
Prior to her current role, she was a talent acquisition leader within Kaiser Permanente, where her team focused on clinical nurse hiring across multiple markets within ambulatory care nursing. As a talent acquisition leader, she supported the opening of new hospitals and medical office buildings, in addition to hospital acquisitions. She has experience collaborating with labor unions, community organizations, and workforce development boards.
Workcred's mission is to strengthen workforce quality by improving the credentialing system, ensuring its ongoing relevance, and preparing employers, workers, educators, and governments to use it effectively.
