ANSI Launches Practicable Resources Webpage to Help Standardization Community Navigate the “New Normal”

3/07/2022

As the work world begins to evolve beyond the pandemic, the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has launched a practicable resource webpage to help members and organizations throughout the standardization community adapt to new ways of working, strengthen operations, and emerge even stronger. Visitors can access informative presentations, usable guidance, and other free tools, reports, and valuable need-to-know data.

The webpage features several sections with up-to-date resources, including:

  • Effective Virtual and Hybrid Meetings guidance to support members, including access to a video series featuring ANSI’s Organization Member Forum (OMF) on Hybrid Meetings, and guidance from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Technical Management Board (TMB) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on effective and virtual hybrid meetings.

  • Workplace Health, Safety, and Accessibility guidance, with links to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) resources.

  • Business Recovery and Growth resources, with information on pandemic-related loans and assistance programs, in addition to featured insights, data, and analysis on the future of work, managing risk, and digitizing operations from McKinsey & Company research.

  • Additional Standards-Related Resources, including coverage of the community's most impactful work in the global fight against COVID-19 and ANSI's initiatives to advance recovery efforts, with links to the ANSI Federation COVID-19 Response page and ANSI’s Portal for ISO and IEC Standards to Help Address COVID-19.
