The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) encourages interested stakeholders to submit comments to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) on the second draft of the NIST Artificial Intelligence Risk Management Framework (AI RMF).
The Framework seeks to better manage risks to individuals, organizations, and society associated with artificial intelligence (AI), and is intended for voluntary use in addressing risks in the design, development, use, and evaluation of AI products, services, and systems.
The second draft incorporates input from AI RMF Workshop #2 and feedback from the initial draft released in March. NIST is also seeking comments on the draft NIST AI RMF Playbook, an online resource providing recommended actions on how to implement the Framework.
Comments on the draft Framework and initial comments on the draft Playbook should be sent to [email protected] before the September 29, 2022, deadline. Feedback will also be accepted at the Building the NIST AI Risk Management Framework: Workshop #3 on October 18-19, 2022.
See NIST’s news item for additional details.
