Did you know? You can access opportunities to get involved in standards activities, find listings of American National Standard (ANS) proposals and approvals, and view project updates on committee work all in one place: ANSI’s “This Week in Standards Development” segment on the ANSI homepage.
Accessible on ansi.org, the homepage feature provides quick and easy access to:
- Standards Action issues, which provide timely, accurate information about current standards development work in which ANSI plays a role. Each weekly edition—available by download or free email subscription—comprises a round-up of the latest information available to help all interested parties become informed about and engaged in standards.
- American National Standard (ANS) proposals and approvals. Visitors can find and download lists and proposed and approved ANS with just one click.
- An ISO, IEC, and ITU standards activities proposals tab provides listings of project updates and timelines for committee work.
- Opportunities to share input. Find everything from workshops to grant proposal requests captured in ANSI’s regularly updated “ANSI Seeks Input & Participation” tab.
The feature is part of a greater initiative by ANSI to expand information resources for the standards community.
