Register now for a webinar on January 31, 2023: The Trade and Technology Dialogue (TTD) is organizing a combined government-to-stakeholder and stakeholder-to-stakeholder assembly to allow broad exchange and information on the outcomes of the third U.S.-EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC) Ministerial Meeting, announced initiatives, and ongoing work progress within the U.S.-EU Trade and Technology Council Working Groups.
As highlighted in a U.S.-EU Joint Statement, among the key outcomes of the third TTC Ministerial meeting in December 2022 are cooperation on new and emerging technologies, collaboration on Quantum, cooperation on a megawatt charging systems (MCS) standard for heavy-duty vehicles, and collaboration on building resilient semiconductor supply chains. Additionally, the meeting resulted in other standards and research cooperation, including the launch of workstreams to increase standards cooperation on additive manufacturing, recycling of plastics, and digital identity, as well as plans to launch new workstreams on Post-Quantum Encryption and Internet of Things (IoT), with an initial focus on technical and performance standards for cybersecurity.
