The ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) will present a webinar to discuss best practices when completing checklists—useful tools for audits and assessments. The session will focus on the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard, with related concepts and tips that can be applied to any type of requirements checklist.
The session will be held on June 29 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET.
Why Do We Need to Understand Checklists?
Checklists can be internally designed by organizations or provided by an accreditation body. They can work as a “one stop shop” for requirements, as well as objective evidence and comments on conformance to requirements. Furthermore, thorough completion of a checklist can prepare an organization for an external assessment, highlight opportunities for improvement, and serve as part of the record of internal audits.
Presenter Paul Matera, ANAB inspection body program lead, will join presenter and host David Feist, ANAB accreditation manager, and provide key takeaways, including:
The webinar is open to anyone with an interest in accreditation, and is intended to dispel the concerns that everyone (including experienced assessors, auditors, and quality managers) has when confronted with completing an accreditation checklist.
