ANSI Updates Online Course for U.S. Delegates to International Activities

8/04/2023

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is pleased to announce that its free online course for U.S. delegates to international activities has been updated for 2023.

U.S. Delegates to International Activities: Roles and Responsibilities provides an understanding of the requirements for international standardization meetings, the roles and responsibilities of delegates, and how to best prepare for and conduct oneself at meetings. The 50-minute course also offers an overview of the standards landscape, including ANSI's role in U.S. and international standardization.

The course is divided into three parts:

  • How U.S. delegates add value to the standards process, and the benefits of standardization to U.S. organizations and the United States as a whole
  • What it means to be a U.S. delegate
  • How to be an effective delegate

This course is available on-demand at no charge for all interested stakeholders. Visit ANSI’s Training Courses and Webinars page to access the course, and to learn about ANSI’s full array of training resources on various aspects of the standardization system.
