NFPA Marks Fire Prevention Week with Videos Apps and Educational Materials

10/08/2020

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) is marking this year’s Fire Prevention Week, October 4-10, with a variety of free resources for all interested stakeholders.

The theme for Fire Prevention Week 2020 is “Serve Up Fire Safety in the Kitchen,” and NFPA’s resources educate about simple and important actions everyone can take to prevent fires in the kitchen – especially since cooking is the number one cause of home fires and home fire injuries. Those who wish to learn more or educate others on fire prevention can access a number of materials on NFPA’s Fire Prevention Week website, including games and apps for children, a toolkit for organizations seeking to spread information on fire safety, and informational videos for adults and children.

Learn more and access the materials at no cost on NFPA’s website.
