INCITS – the International Committee for Information Technology Standards has announced that they will host a webinar introducing Recursive Inter-Network Architecture (RINA).
“RINA: Back to the Future – New Directions in Standardization” will discuss the issues that have arisen with scaling the Internet over the years as technology develops and older systems and servers struggle to adequately support these technologies. Considerable research and experimentation since 2000 suggest that new requirements demand a kind of new “Future Internet.” This webinar aims to look the requirements for a Future Internet, as well as implications for new directions and opportunities in standardization for INCITS and the international community of formal standards.
Attendees will hear from host John Day of INCITS, author of Patterns in Network Architecture: A return to Fundamentals. The free webinar will be held on Friday, June 25, from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. EDT. Registration is required. Click here to learn more and register.
