The Electronic Commerce Code Management Association (ECCMA) will host a webinar later this month guiding organizations that seek to build their own corporate dictionary using ECCMA’s free resources.

“Building a Corporate Dictionary: a practical guide to building one of the most important corporate resources” will introduce listeners to the ECCMA Open Technical Dictionary (eOTD), a free resource that supports organizations in developing their own dictionary. The eOTD defines words, as a regular language dictionary does, but also assigns each word a unique number or “concept identifier” that turns the data into portable data – unambiguous, language-independent data that preserves its meaning.

Attendees will learn how to use the eOTD in order to build and maintain a corporate dictionary. The free presentation will be held on Friday, July 30, at 11 a.m. ET. Learn more and register on ECCMA’s website.
