The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) recently published an article with tips on how manufacturers can successfully adapt to the newest technologies like machine learning and robotics, termed “Manufacturing 4.0.”

Anant Kadiyala, senior director of transformational technologies at Oracle, suggests six factors that can support the use of Manufacturing 4.0 technologies: technology adoption; data-driven decision making; new business models; innovation and experimentation; well-integrated teams; and culture. With attention to these six factors, manufacturers can fully embrace new technologies that will allow them to shift operations quickly and seamlessly.

Read specific suggestions related to each of the factors in NAM’s news item.
