The American Chemistry Council (ACC) and Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS) have added three new members to Operation Clean Sweep (OCS) blue, indicating that these organizations exceed rigorous standards related to preventing plastic resin loss. OCS is an industry-led campaign dedicated to helping every plastic resin handling operation prevent plastic resin loss.
The new members – BASF, DuPont, and Eastman – have demonstrated commitment to preventing plastic from entering the environment or becoming marine debris. Operation Clean Sweep blue members must meet standards to help eliminate plastic resin loss through site audits, increased employee awareness, and improved equipment, processes, and procedures at their facilities.
