MHI has announced two new memorial scholarships available to scholars pursuing studies related to the supply chain-material handling industry.

• An MHI industry group – the Institute of Caster and Wheel Manufacturers (ICWM) – created the Sabine Batsche Memorial Scholarship, which will award $1,500 in memory of Batche’s generous contributions to the ICWM and her tireless work for the industry.
• Three MHI industry groups – the Ergonomics Assist Systems & Equipment Council (EASE), the Lift Manufacturers Product Group (LIFT), and the Loading Dock Equipment Manufacturers Group (LODEM) – will award $3,600 for the James Galante Memorial Scholarship, honoring Mr. Galante’s spirit of volunteerism and mentorship towards the next general of supply chain professionals.
