The Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) recently published two new resources on the role of tree care professionals in emergency response, particularly in relation to storm cleanup.
“Storm Response Considerations” is an article in TCIA’s TCI Magazine that covers the challenges and best practices of storm response work, including practical considerations like long days and dangerous conditions, staffing for regular clients while crews are busy with storm response, and the fiscal uncertainty of the work.
“The Intricacies of Storm Work with Doug Cowles” is the latest episode of the TCIA Podcast, where the president and CEO of HMI discusses storm work and what it takes to do it.
