The Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) has published an article in its Risk Management magazine that covers the year’s most notable risk events, noting top challenges of risk professionals in 2022 and how they may shape the risk landscape in the coming year.
“Year in Risk 2022” covers events including the U.S. surpassing one million COVID-19 deaths; the earthquake in eastern Afghanistan and western Pakistan that killed over 1,000 people; Hurricane Fiona of the Caribbean and Canada and Hurricane Ian of Florida; and the Seoul Halloween crowd surge.
