The presentation will address the growing popularity of building electrification—replacing appliances that use other fuels with those that use electricity. Attendees will learn:

• Pathways towards total electrification
• Heat pump space and water heating technology’s role in electrification
• Tools and trainings for code officials, homeowners, and policymakers
• The SolSmart program, which helps communities improve permitting and inspection processes to support electrification with solar power
