The Water Quality Association (WQA) will host a webinar focusing on Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) impact on drinking water. The latest in WQA’s series on PFAS, the session will include a summary of the 2023 PFAS Symposium, and the association’s government affairs team will lead a discussion on comments submitted to the EPA on proposed PFAS regulation.
Epidemiologist Linda Dell will explain EPA’s strategic roadmap, leaning on the health and science helping to drive the change for proposed regulation. The session will also cover news on consumer regulations happening throughout the U.S. and include some of the health endpoints and gaps in knowledge and research to date.
Attendees are invited to submit questions in advance, particularly those pertaining to the health and science of PFAS or those specific to the proposed EPA PFAS regulations or health advisories.
Register for the June 22 webinar, “PFAS and Forecasting the Regulatory Landscape,” on WQA’s website.
