ASTM International’s Committee E60 on Sustainability, with co-sponsor National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), will host a workshop on October 10-11 to identify ways in which the committee can support emerging efforts towards decarbonization goals that rely on the use of life cycle assessment and analysis (LCA).
The workshop will bring together ASTM, federal government stakeholders, and other experts to discuss the current state of LCA and carbon standards, and identify gaps. Objectives include identifying:
