ASME’s Podcast Looks into Building Affordable Housing with 3D Printers

The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)’s recent ASMETechCast sheds light on the advantages and limits of large-scale 3D printers and equipment used in building affordable housing.

The CEO talks about how his company is partnering with a local community college to build a curriculum to teach best 3D printing practices. He also discusses the need to stand up a 3D-printed housing industry and build a workforce, along with the current limits of large-scale 3D printers and associated equipment.
