UL Research Institutes (ULRI) has released a new episode of its Here’s Why, podcast, covering the importance of teaching science in schools and why it matters.

The episode features teachers who talk about safety science education, why it's relevant for educators, how it can fit into an already developed curriculum, and resources ULRI provides to support teachers.

Featured guests on the episode are Kelly Keena, senior director, Office of Research Experiences and Education (OREE); Megan O’Keeffe, OREE senior content specialist; and Ann Nielsen, director, Office of Global Engagement, Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College, Arizona State University.

Here’s Why examines the science informing the most common standards, regulations, and safety advice on products we use every day.
