The American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) will present a webinar on the problem-solving skills that are critical for the success of safety professionals.
“Problem solving is a valuable skill that will set you apart from others and leverage your career to the next level,” ASSP reported. “This skill requires both analytical and creative thinking and assists to proactively identify, recognize, and control hazards.”
Certified safety expert Mark Hansen, senior manager, EHS, Contact Handled-Transuranic, will discuss the value of critical soft skills in professional development, and examine differences between invention and innovation. Attendees will analyze challenging situations for resolution and assemble tools for the formulation of possible solutions.
