ASTM International’s unmanned aircraft systems committee (F38) will host a webinar that will explore the development of drone operation standards and the role they play within the field.
“Expanding Drone Operations through Industry Standards” will feature aviation authorities from Japan, Europe, Canada, and the United States who will discuss recent regulatory progress. F38’s various subcommittee members will provide presentations covering airworthiness (F38.01), flight operations (F38.02), personnel (F38.03), and infrastructure (F38.04).
“As countries around the globe seek to expand drone operations, the call for industry standards is rising,” said Mark Blanks, F38 chair and head of global flight operations at Wing. “We’re excited to use this webinar to discuss the latest developments and how to play an active part in enabling the future.”
Register for the August 13 webinar, to be held 12:00-4:00 p.m. ET via WebEx, at ASTM's website.
