USGBC Releases Built Environment Report, Highlighting Buildings as the Frontline Against Climate Change

The U.S Green Building Council (USGBC) has released its Impact Report, highlighting the ways that green building standards and practices have impacted sustainability goals.

The 93-page report sheds light on industry progress to achieve a more sustainable and healthier built environment, showcasing LEED as a tool for the industry and emphasizing decarbonization efforts.

“The impact of our community extends beyond buildings,” said Peter Templeton, president and CEO, U.S. Green Building Council. “Our global community has shaped policy, shifted markets toward sustainable and healthy materials, inspired generations of professionals, and proven that the built environment can be a leading contributor to a better future for all.”
