AEM Celebration of Construction at the National Mall to Showcase Workforce Development Efforts, Sustainability Initiatives

12/13/2024

The Association for Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has announced the second Celebration of Construction on the National Mall, to be held on May 14-16, 2025, to showcase the industry’s innovations, workforce development efforts, and sustainability initiatives. The event aims to:

  • feature the latest in emissions technology, alternative power sources, building materials, construction methods creating greater efficiencies, worker safety enhancements, and workforce development programs;

  • facilitate an array of substantive policy discussions with agency officials who directly impact regulations critical to the off-road equipment industry;

  • allow for discussions with policymakers who craft programs and legislation that affect construction equipment manufacturers and their customers; and

  • highlight construction equipment, components, and hands-on exhibits from industry partners between the Capital Building and Washington Monument.

“For the second time, the construction industry will be front and center in our nation’s capital to display the immense impact the sector and equipment manufacturers have on helping build our country and the entire world,” said AEM vice president of construction and utility John Somers. “The timing couldn’t be better for AEM, as our industry will make its presence felt in Washington as the 119th Congress and new Administration takes shape. And it is incredibly important that we all work together and educate individuals on the equipment, materials, tools, and people needed to build the infrastructure this country needs to thrive.”

Space is limited. Access more information on the event and find out how to participate via AEM’s news.
