SAE International’s latest podcast episode focuses on how digital engineering is enabling smarter decision-making, reducing costs, and accelerating innovation at the Department of Defense (DoD) and beyond.

Guest Dr. Armond E. Sinclair, senior technical account executive for Ansys Government Initiatives, shares how Ansys is helping connect the dots between people, processes, and technology with the predictive power of simulation. He also reflects on how digital engineering can enhance decision making.

“Digital engineering is still in its infancy. We're still learning. What does it take to be successful? There's a bright future within this industry,” said Sinclair. “I would like to encourage those who have been engaged in engineering with very disparate tools and processes to be open to the change because it's coming whether we want it or not. And, don't be afraid to explore the possibilities of new capabilities that we haven't seen before, because I think we're going to start seeing them in new ways that should excite any engineer that has a mind of curiosity in exploration.”
