As part of Standards Alliance: Phase 2 (SA2), the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) invites ANSI members and other public and private U.S. stakeholders to join the SA2 Critical & Emerging Technology U.S. Launch. The luncheon event will take place on October 29, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at ANSI’s headquarters in Washington, DC. Beginning in late 2024, SA2 will include activities that align with the U.S. Government National Standards Strategy for Critical and Emerging Technology (USG NSSCET)’s Line of Effort #8: Facilitate broad representation in standards development. The launch event is intended to share a detailed overview of the project, and seek feedback for activities that SA2 can support related to the implementation of the USG NSSCET by enhancing standards development and capacity building in under-represented regions.
