Movers and Shakers highlights the career advancements and accomplishments of high-level trailblazers working professionally in diverse areas of standardization, contributing every day to the strength and success of the U.S. standards and conformance community.
The Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) recently announced the appointment of David Jenkins as its vice president of finance.
Jenkins’s career includes leadership roles across mission-driven organizations and education-focused institutions, including chief financial officer positions at the Society for Science and The Climate Reality Project and senior finance roles at Stride Learning, Albany Charter School Network, and Imagine Schools.
“David Jenkins brings a wealth of experience in nonprofit and corporate finance that will be pivotal to AIA’s continued growth,” said Eric Fanning, AIA president and CEO. “His appointment as vice president of finance underscores our commitment to operational excellence and strategic advancement, and we’re excited to welcome his leadership to our already stellar team.”
The Monitoring Association (TMA) recently announced the appointment of Whitney A. Doll as the organization’s new CEO, effective in October.
Previously, Doll served successive executive positions at the International Code Council (ICC) for the past eight years, most recently serving as the executive vice president of customer engagement. Prior to ICC, she held multiple positions on the communications team at CNA, a nonprofit research and analysis organization dedicated to the safety and security of the nation.
