There's still time to register for the upcoming
Certificate Issuers' Accreditation Workshop, to be held by the
American National Standards Institute (ANSI) on April 27-28, in Washington, DC. This two-day workshop will introduce the American National Standard
ASTM E2659-09,
Standard Practice for Certificate Programs, and the Institute's
Certificate Accreditation Program (ANSI-CAP). Attendees will learn about the requirements for developing a quality education/training course with an assessment at the end to determine if the learning outcomes have been achieved.
| Combo Course On May 11-13, ANSI is pleased to introduce a special three-day combo workshop specifically designed for organizations interested in both the Personnel Certification Accreditation and Certificate Issuers' Accreditation workshops. The first two days will focus on ANSI/ISO/IEC 17024, General requirements for bodies operating certification schemes for persons. The final day will address ASTM E2659-09, Standard Practice for Certificate Programs, and the Institute's Certificate Accreditation Program. Register now. | |
The workshop covers such areas as: terminology, significance and use of the standard, requirements for certificate issuers, and certificate program and certificate issuance and use. It is recommended for any corporations, organizations, government agencies, and others that are issuing certificates based on training or education courses, and stakeholders such as HR directors who are accepting individuals with certificates within their organizations. Registration is required for all attendees.
