NSF International Strategic Registrations, Ltd., has announced the appointment of
Anthony Giles as business development director. He will oversee the growth of NSF's management system registration services both domestically and abroad. NSF-ISR's parent company,
NSF International, is an accredited standards developer and organizational member of the
American National Standards Institute (ANSI). Mr. Giles has been with NSF-IR for six years and has extensive experience with management systems registration. He previously served as NSF-IR's service delivery manager, overseeing operations and global accounts for more than 6,000 companies. Prior to that he served as corporate global accounts audit manager and registration project manager, working closely with companies in the automotive, defense, and food sectors. Before joining NSF he held a number of sales management and customer service positions, and received training in ISO 9001 quality management systems, ISO 20000 information technology, Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points (HACCP), and Miller Heiman sales performance. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Eastern Michigan University, and participated in NSF International's first Leadership Excellence and Advancement Program.

FM Global has announced a number of changes to its senior management team, including the retirement of vice chairman
Ruud H. Bosman in November after a 40-year career with the company. Mr. Bosman joined FM Global in 1971, and over the years held a number of senior-level positions, including executive vice president; chairman and managing director of international operations; senior vice president, division manager; and vice president and manager of the company's New York operations. He was elected to the board of directors and named vice chairman in 2009, assuming overall responsibility for all of FM Global's operations, engineering, underwriting, marketing, and claims activities around the world. Jonathan W. Hall, who oversees underwriting and reinsurance; claims, marketing, and enterprise learning; and the engineering and research divisions will assume executive management responsibility for Affiliated FM, a member of the FM Global Group. Executive vice president
Thomas A. Lawson, responsible for FM Global's operations in North and South America, will assume executive management responsibility for the company's Europe, the Middle East, and Africa /Asia Pacific division. Both will report to chairman and chief executive officer Shivan S. Subramaniam.
