The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has announced the appointment of Dan Ratner as director of membership development and industry outreach. In this position, Mr. Ratner will oversee membership involvement and engagement, dues revenue, retention rates, and the related return on investment and lifetime value of ANSI membership programs.
Mr. Ratner brings over 17 years of experience in membership development, customer service, direct sales, and component relations for non-profit organizations. For the past three years he was the assistant executive director for membership services at the Council for Exceptional Children in Arlington, VA, where he managed and directed membership development, organizational chapter relations, and customer service activities. Previously, Mr. Ratner served for 11 years at ASCD (formerly the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development) in the role of director of membership development and retention.
