OASIS Seeks Participants for New Work on Privacy Standards for Software Engineers OASIS (the Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards) is launching a project to define privacy governance and documentation standards for software engineers. Privacy by Design Documentation for Software Engineers (PbD-SE) will make it possible for designers to embed privacy into the architecture of their IT systems. The standard will offer engineers guidance on how to execute Privacy by Design (PbD) principles throughout the software development life cycle. AdvaMed Launches Mentoring and Employment Portal for Veterans ANSI member the
Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed) has launched
MedicalTechnologyVeterans.org, a web portal that links job-seeking veterans to mentors and recruiters in the medical technology industry. The website is an extension of the Medical Technology Veterans Program (MVP), supported by sponsors that include medical technology companies, law firms, and other organizations. MedicalTechnologyVeterans.org will offer users the ability to create a profile and access a collection of learning opportunities and discussion forums, job openings, mentoring, and other resources. The portal will be open to any U.S. veteran looking for medical technology jobs and careers, industry professionals who are volunteering as mentors, company recruiters, and other veteran organizations and groups.
