Agendas for all Forums Now Available; GMF/ICSP Now Open to the Public
The
American National Standards Institute (ANSI) would like to remind interested stakeholders that
World Standards Week (WSW) 2014 will be held this year
October 20-24 in Washington, DC. The registration deadline for this event, which brings together members of the standards and conformity assessment community, is
October 10, 2014. Agendas are currently available online for all WSW forums.
This year's edition of WSW features a number of exciting events and meetings, including a keynote address on workforce development from former Michigan Governor John Engler, president of the Business Roundtable (BRT), and this year's Legal Issues Forum, which will examine legal claims against standards developers and conformity assessment bodies. Attendees at the event will also have the opportunity to take part in a number of ANSI member forums, including the Government Member Forum (GMF) / Interagency Committee on Standards Policy (ICSP) meeting, which for the first time will be open to all.
