People on the Move spotlights trailblazers in standardization, highlighting their latest achievements, advancements, and contributions to the standards and conformance community.
CSA Group, a member and accredited standards developer of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), has announced that Rajiv Rajput has assumed the newly created role of executive vice president of strategic development.
Prior to joining CSA Group, Mr. Rajput worked at Accenture, where he was managing director. In this role, he led large scale business transformational programs, technology transformation, and growth of new markets. He has extensive experience in helping clients accelerate growth and improve operations.
"Rajiv's skills and expertise will help us to achieve even higher levels of operating performance and to pursue new opportunities for our global testing and certification business," said David Weinstein, president and CEO of CSA Group. "He is a welcome addition to our executive leadership team."
The Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS), an ANSI member and accredited standards developer, has appointed Mike Nawrocki as its vice president of technology solutions. In this newly created role, Mr. Nawrocki will develop strategic initiatives to meet industry trends, directing the organization in next generation technologies and networks.
Mr. Nawrocki has extensive experience in the information and communications technology industry, most recently serving as director of standards and industry groups for Verizon Technology Strategy & Planning. He has also worked in network planning and engineering positions at AT&T and Bell Atlantic, and has held leadership roles on a number of working groups, Boards of Directors, and industry technical and regulatory fora. Mr. Nawrocki has engaged with ATIS frequently in the past, most recently as a co-chair of an ATIS initiative to advance the public safety communications infrastructure.
"With his broad industry experience, operator insights, and direct knowledge of how ATIS achieves results, Mike is a strategic addition to the team," said ATIS president and CEO Susan Miller. "His insights into the direction of the industry will be an important asset to advance our members' business and technology priorities."
