The American National Standards Institute
(ANSI) held a joint webinar with SES-The Society for Standards Professionals on Wednesday, May 17. The webinar highlighted certification programs related to standards and their value to professionals and employers. A recording of the webinar is now available for those who may be interested but missed the live event.

Korea's Certification Program: Donggeun Choi, Principle Researcher, Korean Standards Association (KSA) About the Speakers Roy Swift, Ph.D., is executive director of ANSI-affiliated Workcred and previously served as the chief workforce development officer at ANSI and senior director of personnel credentialing accreditation programs. He has served on national committees, non-profit Boards of Directors, and government advisory committees. Dr. Swift holds a B.S. in occupational therapy from the University of Kansas, an M.S. Ed. from the University of Southern California, and a Ph.D. in continuing and vocational education with an emphasis in continuing competency in the professions from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Lee Webster is currently UTMB's Director of Employee Relations, overseeing HR services support for a 12,000 person academic healthcare organization. Over a 20-year period prior to joining SHRM, Lee held important HR positions at Exxon Mobil, PepsiAmericas, and other international Fortune 500 firms. He is currently the chair of the certification committee for the Standards Engineering Society. Lee holds a BS in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, an MS in Management Systems from the University of Central Texas, and a JD/MBA from Northwestern University. Donggeun Choi, Ph.D., is principle researcher for policy research in Korean Standards Association (KSA), which he joined in 2000. His experience includes international cooperation, policy research, and education in the field of standardization in various committees of APEC, PASC, ICES and ISO, and has participated in numerous international meetings including APEC, ISO, and PASC. He holds a Ph.D. in Technology and Innovation Management from Sungkyunkwan University.
