The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has opened enrollment for the first of its 17024 Personnel Certification Accreditation Workshops, which run through 2019. ANSI encourages all relevant stakeholders to register for its March 7-8, 2019 session, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at ANSI's headquarters in Washington, DC.
The workshop is designed to introduce organizations that are considering accreditation by ANSI to the international standard ANSI/ISO/IEC 17024- General requirements for bodies operating certification schemes for persons. The federal government, the certification industry, and organized labor are increasingly recognizing the standard. Relevant stakeholders include personnel from corporations, organizations, government agencies, and others that operate certification programs, and organizations that are considering developing personnel certification programs. (See the full list on ANSI's Accreditation site).
