USNC to Host a Webinar on Effective Participation in IEC Standards Development

October 1 Session to Cover Global Cooperation and Collaboration

Professionals at all career levels interested in international standardization are invited to attend the educational webinar, The Effective Participation in the Development of International IEC Standards, on October 1, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET. The United States National Committee (USNC) of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), a committee of the American National Standards Institute, (ANSI) will host the online event.

The webinar will cover:

• The importance of global cooperation and collaboration
  
• The benefits of participating in the development of international standards
  
• How to conduct oneself at international meetings
  
• Group leadership and decision-making skills
  

Whether launching a career in standardization or honing skills as a seasoned professional, attendees will learn new skills that will advance their knowledge and help them be more effective participants in IEC standardization activities.
