The 2018-2019 Annual Report from the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is now available. Entitled Expanding to New Horizons, the report informs stakeholders of ANSI's key initiatives and accomplishments over the past year. It also documents financial activities of the Institute during 2018.
The report was distributed to members during ANSI's Annual Business Meeting and Luncheon on November 5, 2019, as part of the World Standards Week 2019 series of events.
"One of my most important roles as ANSI president and CEO is making the case to business leaders and policy makers around the world about the critical importance of standardization that is to say, standards and conformity assessment. Standardization is the building block for innovation, defining the requirements that enable myriad interconnected technologies and systems to work together safely and efficiently," noted S. Joe Bhatia, ANSI president and CEO. "Standardization requires strategic coordination to ensure market and stakeholder needs are met, and ANSI is proud of the collaborative efforts between so many of our members, partners, and stakeholders across the public and private sectors that have enabled tremendous progress."
A full distribution of the Annual Report to all ANSI member contacts will occur in the near future. Additional copies are available upon request to the ANSI communications team ([email protected]). The ANSI 2018-2019 Annual Report is also available in electronic format.
