Register for USNC Event: Establishing a National Young Professionals Program

Virtual Event on October 20 to be Held during World Standards Week 2020

The USNC Young and Emerging Professionals (YEP) Committee will host a webinar event on October 20, 2020, from 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. ET during World Standards Week, to advance work in establishing a national Young Professionals (YP) Program in the United States.

USNC YEP committee vice-chair Carolyn Hull, DICOM general secretary at the Medical Imaging and Technology Alliance, will lead the discussion. Aristea Kyriakati, IEC program officer in charge of IEC YP activities, will provide an overview on the IEC's efforts to help establish and support national YP programs around the world.

A Look at Goals for Establishing a National Young Professionals Program in the U.S.

• Create a platform for active engagement among all young and emerging professionals with interests in standards development and conformity assessments in the United States.

• Expand the participation of young and emerging professionals in the IEC Young Professionals YP Programme.

Who Can Attend?

Professionals of every experience level are welcome to participate in the upcoming webinar in October. Young and emerging professionals working in standards and conformity assessment are encouraged to join the USNC YEP Committee as the group continues their ongoing efforts to establish a National YP Program.
