The 2019-2020 Annual Report from the American National Standards Institute is now available. The report informs stakeholders of ANSI's key initiatives and accomplishments over the past year, provides a look at activities on the horizon, and documents the financial activities of the Institute during 2019. Reflecting the virtual nature of the world today, the annual report is digital, with interactive links to videos and resources for extra insights about the activities of ANSI and its affiliates.
The report was released during ANSI's Annual Business Meeting on Wednesday, October 21, as part of the World Standards Week 2020 series of events.
"In the face of challenge and adversity, the standardization community has always charted a course to a better tomorrow, and these extraordinary times are no different," noted S. Joe Bhatia, ANSI president and CEO. "Every challenge that the world has ever faced—no matter how difficult or trying—has ultimately brought about advancements. And at every step of modern history, standardization has played an essential role in this progress. As the world continues to adapt and respond to the challenges of COVID-19, the U.S. standardization community—with the strength of its many voices and collaborative solutions—will no doubt continue to make the world better, safer, and stronger."
ANSI’s 2019-2020 Annual Report is available online and will be distributed electronically to all ANSI member contacts.
