The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) encourages stakeholders to attend the virtual Clean Lessons Learned Series, which will highlight efforts in response to COVID-19. A series of monthly live-streamed events, "CLEAN Lessons Learned" features expert-led sessions covering current best practices, data-driven solutions, and innovative technologies to help people feel confident and safe gathering indoors. The series provides an opportunity for thought leaders from biosafety, biosecurity, indoor air quality associations, and standards development organizations to assess knowledge gaps, science-based best practices, and lessons learned to help people get back to work safely.
The first session on August 30, 2021, will highlight "Getting Serious about Airborne Infection Transmission," focusing on the importance of protection against the airborne transmission of COVID-19 in public indoor spaces as part of the nation’s plans to 'get back to normal.' Additional coverage will provide an overview of some of the proposed solutions to help us adapt public buildings and indoor places to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19.
